Website technology
This portfolio uses no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no cookies itself. Images and fonts are served with the website. There is no contact form and there are no user accounts.
If Cloudflare checks a suspicious request, it may use technically necessary security cookies, for example to remember a completed security check. These protect the website rather than serve advertising. Cloudflare cookie information
Instagram is accessible through ordinary links and a locally stored QR code. No Instagram posts or social-media plugins are embedded. Opening a link or using the QR code takes you outside this website; Instagram’s own privacy information then applies.
Email enquiries
Email links open your email application. If you write to us, your email address, your name if provided, and the contents of your message are processed to respond to your enquiry. Gmail, provided by Google, is used to receive and handle messages.
General enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in answering messages and communicating about the artworks. If your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. The information is not used for marketing mailings.
Messages are retained only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and related correspondence. Longer retention may be necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Retention therefore depends on the purpose and contents of the correspondence.
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., USA, and delivered through Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP address, requested URL, access time and browser information to deliver content and detect attacks or technical faults.
Technical delivery and security are based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, in particular the legitimate interest in a reliable and secure portfolio. Cloudflare’s retention of technical data depends on the service concerned, delivery and security purposes, and legal obligations. Its retention criteria are explained in the Cloudflare privacy policy linked below.
Processing outside the EEA
Google and Cloudflare operate international services. Data may therefore be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Details of their transfer mechanisms and safeguards are available in the provider privacy policies linked above. Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum, linked below, describes safeguards including standard contractual clauses for transfers that require them.
